Cortijo la Pedriza has 2 twin and 2 double bedrooms (one of which is en suite), and it sleeps eight people comfortably. There are 2 large terraces and a private swimming pool. The garden is unique, overlooking amazing mountain ranges and with fragrant flowers, kitchen herbs, vegetables and fruit trees growing for guests to help themselves. The first terrace is shaded by a grape vine and smells sweetly of jasmine in summer. The terrace leads into a large open plan, kitchen area, which includes dishwasher, oven, hob, fridge freezer, a cd/radio player and an iPod/phone dock.

A washing machine is located in a separate utility room under the house at the back of the garden.

The dining area houses a large table with seating for 8 people leading to a sitting area with original stone flooring, sofa and wood-burning stove. From here you can reach the covered outside eating area with dining table and chairs and patio lighting.

The second terrace, with swimming pool has tremendous views across the olive groves to the distant mountains of the Sierra Subbética Natural Park (perfect for uninterrupted star gazing).

The inside dining room area leads to another large separate sitting room with original fireplace. It is comfortably furnished with two large sofas and access to another outside seating area looking onto the 2nd terrace and surrounding rural countryside.

The main bath/shower room is upstairs, but the second double bedroom also has an en suite which is reached from the private terrace. There is also a toilet and outside pool shower leading from the second terrace.

Second House...

In addition to the main farmhouse there is also an adjoining farmhouse (House 2) that is available for renting. House 2 sleeps 6 people with 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a well stocked kithen and a living room with open fireplace. Bedrooms 1 and 2 have double beds and bedroom 3 has twin beds.

House 2 will only be let together with the main farmhouse (House 1) except in the winter months (November to March) when we let it on its own. If we let House 1 on its own, we will keep house 2 vacant so that guests can enjoy the sole use of the property, 2 terraces, gardens and pool. We may be able to offer a discount for partial occupancy of House 2.
